Forced into something of a tough decision during Shambala's closing roughly a year and seven months ago, your lead staff has finally found a way to get their life under control. As such: back to my
No, actually, my favorite project ever. Yeah. That's about it. If you're a new member, more power to ya'. If you're an old member thinking of returning, I missed you, so give me a nudge. This was an incredible and loveable community during its run, and I'd be happy to see any of our prior userbase. I've never rped with a more excellent group of people.
In lieu of the second opening, your input would also be greatly appreciated! We are hoping to make Shambala more accessible, open, and welcoming. Any ideas, suggestions, or helpful commentary is always of interest to myself and the other staff. I'd be glad if we could incorporate our members opinions in our decision-making processes--it's a joy to feel as if our direction reflects the players, as well as seeing our friends get involved.
As such, I wish that I had cultivated a more fluid dialogue about site issues in the past. This will be one of Shambala's future goals. Others include giving more ownership over to the players, who contribute vastly to our community, as well as streamlining things like coding, staff work, and the scheduling of events. If you give us a look over, you'll see that we've changed our stance on character abilities and activity checks or character caps/limits. The lore has went through a make-over, too!
